A passionate collector of African and Oceanic tribal art, Alexandre Logé enjoys combining primitive motifs with neoclassical compositions, in the spirit of Alberto Giacometti’s decorative objects for Jean-Michel Frank during the interwar period. His timeless lighting and furniture pieces in plaster or bronze – often inspired by ancient art, Egyptian or Cycladic – are sculptural compositions more than purely functional objects.
In Paris in 2005, he launched his practice and began specializing in the creation of objects, furniture and lighting in bronze and plaster, combining soft curves and organic forms with rigorously structured, totemic compositions. Whether chandeliers for Valentino boutiques or a console table commissioned by Peter Marino for the Cheval Blanc hotel, Alexandre Logé's creations appeal to both major luxury houses and renowned interior designers. Among the latter are Caroline Sarkozy, Fabrizio Casiraghi, and Martin Brûlé, each working in their own style managing seamlessly to incorporate Logé’s pieces into their projects.
Alexandre Logé collaborates with leading international galleries such as Donzella LTD and Ralph Pucci in New York, 88 Gallery in London, The Rope in Munich, and Alexandre Biaggi in Paris. Each is given exclusive rights on certain pieces, while others are available direct from his private gallery apartment near Parc Monceau, Paris, and via his website.
2025 marks a turning point for Alexandre Logé. This designer of exceptional pieces, crafted in his own workshops in the tradition of French decorative arts but dynamized by a very personal sculptural approach, is now presenting his work as two distinct collections. Lefko is a line of lighting in immaculate plaster; Cosmos is a range of furniture and lighting that merges high-tech with fine craftsmanship. Two distinct worlds, two brands.
