Coutansais Castillo is a creative entity dedicated to interior architecture and furniture design, founded by Clara Rebillard Castillo and Victor Poirier Coutansais. Driven by a shared vision, they develop a singular, rigorous and resolutely bespoke approach. Each project is envisioned as a spatial narration, rich in references and firmly anchored in its context, a sensitive field of exploration where function meets emotion. Through nuanced colour palettes, a refined interplay of textures and light, the duo weaves a singular and profoundly narrative interior language.
This philosophy is embodied in their first project, Balhyo, a Korean grocery store specialising in the art of fermentation. Imagined as a sensory setting, the space subtly interlaces Korean culture with the French art de vivre.
Their aesthetic vocabulary, both poetic and meticulously crafted, now extends into a series of forthcoming ventures. The studio is currently working on several residential projects, including two houses, a Parisian apartment, a private townhouse in the South of France, as well as a furniture collection due to launch this autumn. These are all areas of expression in which the duo's vision is expressed with coherence and inspiration.
